Pastor Mike Hayes Biography
Mike Hayes is the founder and Senior Pastor of Covenant Church based in Carrollton, Texas, and celebrating a membership of more than 12,000. For 30 years, Covenant Church has been strengthening families, communities and the world by encouraging relationship with Jesus Christ in a diverse, multicultural atmosphere filled with vibrant Worship and relevant Word.
For Mike Hayes, his commitment to the Lord came at an early age as he quickly recognized the ministry call upon his life. Completing college, he proceeded to establish a wide-spread evangelistic ministry that took him across the United States as well as the world. In 1973, Mike Hayes married the love of his life, Kathy Parker. Being a key member of a very popular music ministry herself, Kathy’s call to ministry had also been firmly established.
In 1976, after the birth of their first child, Mike and Kathy moved to the Dallas, Texas, area to create their dream, Covenant Church. Beginning with only a vision, Mike & Kathy founded Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas, in October 1976. Since then, Covenant Church, combined with Covenant Church’s Spanish-speaking congregation, Mundo de Fe, has grown to more than 12,000 members across 12 locations in the North Texas area. Through their apostolic leadership, Covenant Church and Mundo de Fe generously support missionaries, churches, schools and orphanages throughout the world.
Mike Hayes continues to “follow the cloud” with intensity and vision as a pastor, author and radio and television host. His recently released book, “God’s Law of First Things,” has been widely acclaimed for its revelation and insight into the necessity of putting God first in our lives—and realizing the blessing that awaits those who do. His Bible-based teachings are heard daily on “Covenant Life,” a popular radio program broadcast throughout the North Texas area. He is also a frequent host on the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s national program, “Praise the Lord.”
Mike Hayes is respected around the world for his insight into the Word of God. Through his vision and leadership, he is actively preparing a generation of leaders who are destined to be world changers for the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Kathy Hayes Biography
Kathy Hayes is a woman of leadership possessing a great love for God's people. She and her husband, Mike, had a vision to build a church in the Dallas, Texas area. In 1976, after the birth of their first child, that vision became reality as Covenant Church was established in Carrollton, Texas.
Since their humble beginnings in 1976, Covenant Church, combined with Covenant Church’s Spanish-speaking congregation, Mundo de Fe, has grown to more than 12,000 members across 12 locations in the North Texas area. Through the apostolic leadership of Pastors Mike and Kathy Hayes, Covenant Church and Mundo de Fe generously support missionaries, churches, schools and orphanages throughout the world.
Kathy is known for speaking a very sound word seasoned with a lively style that allows for the movement of the Holy Spirit. In recent years, God has given Kathy an even greater anointing to teach and preach the Word of God. She is frequently invited to speak at conferences, both locally and nationally, and is a true spiritual mentor to women in the Body of Christ. She is happiest when she is helping other women recognize their God-given talents and abilities as well as their place of service and fulfillment within the Body of Christ. As a spiritual mother to thousands, she exudes a rare wisdom and authority in the spirit.
The Hayes reside in the Dallas area with their son, Stephen and his wife, Erika Hayes, along with their daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Amie (Hayes) Dockery. Pastors Mike and Kathy Hayes are also the proud grandparents of four beautiful grandchildren.
