Parents! It’s that time of year again. Registration is now open for your children to take part in our annual adventure at Camp Dry Gulch! This is a full summer camp experience (swimming, camping, crafts, etc.) with a special emphasis on exciting your children about their relationship with Jesus! Thursday | March 18th | 6:00 pm | Juvenile Detention Center – Dallas

Each Sunday morning, Covenant Community Outreach volunteers walk into the jail cells of the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center to touch young offenders with the power and love of Christ. We are looking for volunteers who will give one Sunday morning a month to change the life of a teenager. We leave from the Covenant Life Centre parking lot at 8:00 am and return to campus in time for second service. The Dallas County Juvenile Department requires all volunteers to complete a training class that is only offered four times per year. The rise of Islam in the U.S. and abroad threatens religious freedom and the spread of the Gospel. News reports of violence traced back to Islamic extremists are common. Christians are paralyzed with fear of something they don’t understand or are unwittingly fooled by politically savvy misrepresentations. Meanwhile, Muslims perish without finding the personal relationship with God (through Jesus Christ) that they desperately desire. Don’t be overwhelmed or dismayed. Be empowered! A Christian’s Response to Islam will help you understand today’s headlines with a biblical perspective. Topics include: the founding of Islam, the root of Jihad and hatred for Israel, women in Islam, how to share the Gospel with Muslims, and Islam’s role in the end times.
